Context: The Converse x Dungeons & Dragons collection, celebrating 50 years of the game. Working with real Dungeons and Dragons players to create authentic creative, we made an illustrated experience of what it’s like to move through a game scenario narrated from a Dungeon Master, infusing Converse product & iconic symbols from the game into the scene (IYKYK). We photographed the product separately to then place into the posters. The idea was to create vintage inspired D&D print ads to advertise this collaboration, in the spirit of how the game was advertised around its inception.
